Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., was launched from the hospital Friday following two days of assessments and commentary after he was hospitalized for feeling lightheaded, his communications director mentioned.
Joe Calvello mentioned Friday that the senator was “wanting ahead to returning to the Senate on Monday” following his discharge from George Washington College Hospital in Washington, D.C., round 5 p.m. ET.
“Along with the CT, CTA and MRI assessments ruling out a stroke, his EEG check outcomes got here again regular, with no proof of seizures,” Calvello tweeted.
Fetterman, 53, was hospitalized Wednesday. He mentioned he was feeling lightheaded after attending a lawmakers’ retreat earlier that day.
Members of his workers had taken him to the hospital, the place medical doctors performed an MRI. Fetterman remained hospitalized Thursday as medical doctors performed extra assessments and monitored him with an EEG for indicators of seizure.
Calvello mentioned on Thursday that after reviewing the MRI outcomes, medical doctors dominated out a brand new stroke. The senator suffered a stroke on the marketing campaign path final 12 months.
Fetterman has been vocal about his restoration from that stroke, and ongoing challenges he has confronted since then with auditory processing.
