Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley on Tuesday introduced her 2024 presidential marketing campaign, making her former President Donald Trump’s first opponent for the Republican nomination.
Haley served as ambassador to the United Nations for 2 years within the Trump administration. She is anticipated to ship her in-person announcement speech Wednesday in Charleston, South Carolina.
“It’s time for a brand new technology of management — to rediscover fiscal duty, safe our border, and strengthen our nation, our satisfaction and our function.” Haley stated in a video saying her marketing campaign.
In her announcement, Haley accuses the “socialist left” of seeing “a chance to rewrite historical past.”
“China and Russia are on the march. All of them suppose we could be bullied, kicked round,” Haley says. “You must know this about me: I don’t put up with bullies. And while you relax, it hurts them extra for those who’re carrying heels. I’m Nikki Haley, and I’m operating for president.”
