Perspective | I pass as cisgender. I worry what could happen if people realize I’m trans.

Folks have all the time advised me that I’ve a pleasant face. And for many of my life, that wasn’t a lot of an issue — till I transitioned.

After I go away my condo, nobody appears to know or suspect that I wasn’t assigned feminine at delivery. Every time, I’m anxious that I’ll be acknowledged as trans and fearful about what which may imply for my girlfriend’s and my security, particularly as a result of there aren’t many visibly trans individuals residing in my suburban neighborhood.
