Teenage bicycle owner Estela Domínguez has died after being hit by a truck whereas coaching, the Royal Spanish Biking Federation (RFEC) stated in a press release on Friday.
The accident occurred on a freeway within the Spanish metropolis of Salamanca, the assertion stated.
Domínguez, who was solely 19, was described by the RFEC as “one of the crucial promising nationwide riders.”

Alejandro Valverde, the 2009 Vuelta a España winner, posted his condolences on social media.

Domínguez’s father was Juan Carlos Domínguez, per Reuters, who received a stage of the Giro d’Italia.
